Garlic Lime Chicken

Garlic Lime Chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ t. salt
  • ½ t. black pepper
  • ½ t. cayenne pepper
  • ¼ t. paprika
  • 2 ½ t. garlic powder, divided
  • ¼ t. onion powder
  • ½ t. dried thyme
  • ½ t. dried parsley
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 3 T. lime juice
Directions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, cayenne, paprika, ½ t. garlic powder, onion powder, thyme and parsley. Sprinkle spice mixture generously on both sides of chicken breasts.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a large heavy skillet over medium heat. Sauté chicken until golden brown, about 6 minutes each side.
  3. Sprinkle with remaining 2 t. garlic powder and lime juice. Cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently to coat evenly with sauce.
